Notes 3 Aug
Sunday Chivasangh - 03rd Aug, 2025
Gurubhyo Namaha
The Satsang began in a serene, nature-filled setting with rituals such as Guruvandane, Nirvana Shatkam, Panchakshari chanting, and silentation. Masterji addressed Abhyasis with insights on mind (Manasu), karma (Karmapala), expectations, and discipline.
He emphasized that the root of happiness or suffering lies in the mind and our expectations. We often want others to behave as we wish, which leads to stress, conflict, and disappointment when minds don’t align. True peace arises when we accept others as they are without trying to change them.
Masterji discussed Karmapala, the result of actions that, when internalized, create impressions and suffering in the mind. If one learns not to allow karma to settle as mental impressions, one can avoid sorrow. Both good and bad life experiences are natural, and only when one remains unaffected by them, can Mukthi (liberation) be attained. Enlightened beings, like Lord Rama, remain neutral and non-reactive to all events, whether joyous or painful.
On discipline, Masterji noted that strict, forced discipline creates stress. True discipline arises willingly and naturally, like how nature operates. Spiritual practice (Sadhane) should be voluntary and wholehearted, not compelled. Similarly, parents should avoid accumulating Karmapala when children act against expectations. Spirituality must be pursued freely, not under obligation.
The goal of the SSSB Foundation is to help individuals attain enlightenment without compulsion. Forced discipline often leads to punishment and resistance. In conclusion, Masterji urged Abhyasis to dedicatedly attend Sunday Satsangs for three continuous months to experience profound benefits. In unavoidable circumstances, one should carry the Master's image in their heart, affirming that while the body may perish, the soul remains unharmed.
