Namachivayam Sunday Chivasangh  June 14, 2026 The Sunday Chivasangh was held in a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere surrounded by greenery and the soothing sounds of birds. The gathering began with silentation by the Abhyasis, creating an environment of peace and introspection. With the arrival of the Divine Master, the atmosphere became even more tranquil and charged with spiritual energy. Masterji began his discourse by asking whether everyone present was happy. He explained that true happiness should be a natural state of being, but it is often disturbed when the mind becomes crowded with thoughts. According to him, the primary reason for human unhappiness lies in the dualities of likes and dislikes. People become attached to what they like and distressed when faced with what they dislike. These attachments and aversions create emotional fluctuations and prevent lasting happiness. He further explained that every person is born and must eventually face death. Betw...

Notes 07-June

**Summary of Sunday Satsang – June 7, 2026** The Sunday Chivsang was held in a peaceful and spiritually uplifting atmosphere, enhanced by meditation and the presence of the Enlightened Master. Masterji began the discourse by posing a profound question: **“Are we born to suffer or enjoy?”** He explained that both happiness (*sukha*) and sorrow (*dukkha*) are states of the mind (*manasu*). Human beings experience these dualities through worldly attachments and circumstances. Events that bring happiness today may become the source of sorrow tomorrow. Therefore, a spiritual seeker must learn to view both pleasure and pain with equal detachment. Masterji emphasized that the mind is responsible for creating experiences of happiness and sorrow. Through the proper use of *buddhi* (intelligence or discrimination), one can transcend these dualities. When the mind no longer reacts to pleasure and pain, true peace (*shanthi*) arises. This inner peace leads to liberation and ultimately to unio...

The session began with meditation by the Abhyasis, and the arrival of the Divine Master further deepened the tranquility and spiritual vibrations of the gathering. Masterji centered his discourse on the nature of peace and disturbance. He posed a profound question: *Does peacefulness depend upon external circumstances, or does disturbance arise from one's own mental conception and reaction?* He explained that peace is not determined by the environment, objects, or the behavior of others. Rather, it depends on how the mind interprets and responds to situations. According to him, disturbances originate within when we allow external events to enter and influence the mind. To illustrate this truth, Masterji referred to situations such as criticism or harsh words from a spouse, collea...

He began by asking the Abhyasis why they gather every Sunday and compared the importance of attending Satsang to undergoing dialysis. Just as dialysis is essential for sustaining physical life by purifying the blood, regular participation in Satsang is essential for spiritual purification and Liberation. After deep meditation by the Abhyasis, the Master explained that liberation essentially means freedom from suffering, which arises from numerous negative tendencies (“Nakarathmic Gunagallu”) such as fear, anxiety, jealousy, hatred, sorrow, and ego.
