Sunday Satsang - March 22, 2026

The Sunday Satsang at the Mouna Mantappa began in a calm and serene environment, surrounded by nature. Abhyasis gathered and engaged in deep meditation, experiencing inner peace and silence. With the arrival of the Enlightened Master, the atmosphere became even more divine and tranquil.

Masterji raised a thought-provoking question: should one seek only happiness in material life, or aspire for something higher? He emphasized that one must seriously strive for Mukthi (liberation), rather than attempting to pursue both worldly happiness and liberation simultaneously. When one sincerely works toward Mukthi, true happiness and peace follow naturally.

He explained that attaining Mukthi requires dedication and the guidance of an Enlightened Master. Just as knowledge is gained through personal effort, Mukthi can only be achieved with the support and direction of a realized Master. Serving the Master with devotion is essential to receive his guidance. He illustrated this through the example of caring for a cow to get milk, highlighting the importance of sincere service.

Masterji described the Master as a bridge between the disciple and the Supreme, guiding one across worldly existence. While the inner Master provides spiritual energy, the physical Master offers necessary guidance. Without this guidance, the journey becomes slow and difficult. Proper connection with the Master is crucial, and devotion (Bhakti) is reflected through one’s service.

He stressed the importance of detachment from material possessions while still fulfilling family responsibilities. True detachment lies in avoiding the sense of ownership. The thought of “mine” creates attachment, while understanding that everything is given by God fosters detachment.

Masterji stated that self-realization is subtle and cannot be achieved by individual effort alone. The Master helps intensify the divine energy within and leads the disciple step by step toward Mukthi. Constant remembrance of the Master is essential for a peaceful life.

He concluded by saying that while many love God, only a few are loved by God. Similarly, the Master’s grace depends on the importance and devotion shown by the disciple. Mukthi can be attained only through sincere dedication, devotion, and service to the Enlightened Master.

Any misconception of the Master's discourse is regretted and guidance solicited.
