Sunday Satsang - Oct.12, 2025
The Sunday Satsang, held in the serene surroundings of Mouna Mantappa, began with devotional chanting and silence, setting a deeply spiritual tone. With the arrival of Masterji, the atmosphere became even more elevated. His discourse centered around the essence of *Adhyatmika* (spiritual living), emphasizing that spirituality is about experiencing the inner spirit and not merely adopting external practices.
Masterji highlighted the importance of **faith and trust** among spiritual seekers. He explained that while the human mind carries **Nakarathmic (negative) vibes** like attachment and expectations, the **Spirit** itself is free from these qualities. **Positivity**, he said, is not something to be acquired but is the **absence of negativity**. When all negativity fades, what remains is a state of pure positivity, described as **“nothingness.”**
On the subject of **love**, Masterji distinguished between **human love**, which is selective and often driven by attachment, and **divine love**, which is unconditional, like a mother’s love — free from expectations or hatred. He encouraged transforming human love into divine love through selfless action and inner purity.
Addressing **karma**, he said its consequences do not affect the body but disturb the mind through emotional suffering. People tend to act impulsively in doing wrong, but hesitate before doing good. True spirituality requires reversing this – pausing before bad actions and embracing good deeds without second thought.
Masterji emphasized that being **non-harming** to others is itself a great spiritual virtue. A person who does not disturb others already moves toward positivity. He stressed **patience, tolerance**, and the understanding that we are merely **caretakers** in this world, not owners.
He concluded by saying that one should not pray for material benefits but for the strength to endure life’s challenges. When inner **purity** is attained, one begins to experience **Chivam** — a state of inner stillness and divine presence. In this state, suffering does not affect the mind, as God is realized within.
The Satsang concluded with the chanting of Shanthivachana by the Abhyasis.
