 Namachivayam

Sunday Satsang - March 29, 2026

The Sunday Satsang at Mouna Mantappa began in a serene environment, surrounded by greenery and chirpping of birds. Abhyasis assembled at the Mouna Mantappa and commenced intense meditation, experiencing inner calm. With the arrival of the Master, the atmosphere became even more divine and tranquil.

Masterji explained that the purpose of spiritual sadhana is Self-realization through the Guru’s divine energy. Spirituality helps remove negativity and attain complete purity. When one becomes the Spirit, one is free from attachments and experiences continuous happiness. He emphasized that while the material world surrounds us, the spiritual world exists within. Humans are born to become the Spirit, but inner negativity must first be dissolved.

He highlighted that transformation of the mind is key. When desires are fulfilled, we feel happy; when they are not, we suffer. Using the analogy of a dog and an elephant, he explained that material attachment makes us restless like a dog, whereas spiritual purity makes us calm and majestic like an elephant.

Masterji stated that happiness and sorrow are states of mind. When the mind dissolves, emotions lose their hold. A spiritually evolved person remains peaceful regardless of external chaos, maintaining inner stability. One must aim to be happy both in this world (Ihalokha) and the afterlife (Paralokha) by becoming the Spirit while alive.

He distinguished between silence and “silentation.” Silence is merely not speaking, while silentation is complete stillness of the mind without thoughts. True progress requires silentation, which awakens inner spiritual power.

On Realization and Mukthi, he explained that Realization is the process of knowing the Self and experiencing divinity, while Mukthi is the ultimate state of liberation. To attain Mukthi, one requires the Guru’s guidance, regular satsang, and constant remembrance.

Masterji taught that suffering arises from negativity in the mind, not from external situations. For instance, losing a job should not cause suffering if one uses wisdom to find new opportunities. Pain belongs to the body, but suffering is created by the mind. With the Guru’s help, negativity can be removed, leading to a life free from suffering.

He described three stages in the disciple–Guru relationship: Ego to Ego, Heart to Heart, and Soul to Soul. The highest stage of soul to soul connection involves complete surrender and constant devotion like that of between Lord Shiva & Nandhi; Lord Krishna & Radhe; Lord Rama & Hanuman etc.

In conclusion, Masterji urged Abhyasis to cultivate at least a heart-to-heart connection with the Guru, attend satsangs regularly, and practise sincerely. Through discipline and devotion, one can evolve into the Spirit and experience eternal peace and bliss.
