MMCS 44 - Gurubhyo Namaha

The Sunday satsang commenced with a debate on "Blind Beliefs" chaired by Smt. Shobha Mam.  Everyone of us are nurtured by our parents who always guide us by advocating what is good or bad for us. So  are brought-up by following certain code of conduct. What one believes as bad omen may not  be an issue, at all, for another. Therefore it all depends on one's perception or view.

Shri Viswanathan Sir's speech about the concept of "My Master" was thought provoking and enlightening.

To be precise his message or sermon was that  one should let go his ego and surrender to Master in toto without having even a speck of that "I " feeling in us, instead imbibe the feeling of oneness with Chivaguru. Always have the vision that My Master will take care of everything and I have nothing to worry about.

Shri Lokanathji has thrown light upon Manasu i. e., Mind and energy. Our mind should be initially  in non disturbed condition and then move to thoughtless condition and later to stillness. To attain these conditions we have to resort to Silentation and keep the mind pure. Once we attain purity of mind there will be no place for ego to surface. We should not be egoistic. Only then can we attain "Enlightenment".

Another aspect which Lokanathji has emphasised upon is about "Energy from Master". We have to love Master intensely so that he resides in our hearts. Energy is got from Master when we are connected to him. Energy gets transmitted when we are away from him also. Such is the power of Master's energy. Silence helps in receiving enormous energy from Master in abundance which one should not forgo.

Lastly, Lokanathji advocates that one should live in the present moment without paying heed to past or future.

To live in the memories of the past or in the anxiety of the future would mean ignoring the present moment and missing the opportunity to act.

Any misconception of the subject from my end may kindly be rectified.
