Notes 11 May
Sunday Chivasangh - 11th May, 2025
Gurubhyo Namaha
The satsang commenced at the Mouna Mantapa with the devotional chants on a bright sunny morning and gentle breeze, followed by alternate chanting of panchakshari by Abhyasis.
Masterji says, we assemble every Sunday at Mouna Mantapa to become positive. He asks how does one know that he is becoming positive. He says the circumstances will determine our level of positivity. He says one has to undergo sufferings to gauge one's positivity. A positive person will view the problem from a different perspective and find solution to the problem.
Masterji says for positive people there is no risk but for negative persons there is the problem of risk. The highest problem for anyone is "Death". How is one going to face death. A positive person sees death as something to do with the body and not for soul. The body is mine and some injury to the body leads to worry because of the mind. Today I am the mind therefore I will worry. Mind travels from body to body. The problem is for me because I think I am the Mind. One thinks that he is the Body and the Mind. So I get disturbed because I have the mind. But when the mind gets destroyed then one does not get affected. Therefore Mano Nasha Agabeku. When Mano Nasha takes place one realises the Self i. e., Chivam. Shivam can destroy anything but nothing can destroy Shivam. One has to kill the mind before discarding the body. Otherwise one undergoes the suffering of death. When mind suffers then one tends to suffer because one is connected to material things. When one is not connected then there is no suffering.
Another aspect on which Masterji has thrown light upon is "Avyakta Brahmam" and "Vyakta Brahman". Avyakta Brahman refers to the unmanifest, subtle and ultimate reality from which the manifest universe(the Vyakta) emerges.
Vyakta Brahman is " Manifested Brahman" or visible Brahman. Vyakta aspect of Brahman is the aspect that has a form whereas Avyakta aspect is the formless and impersonal ultimate reality. Masterji says, in Vyakta Brahman state one can experience the materialistic world. He says Brahman is an insignificant representation of the universal consciousness. From universal consciousness we come to earth as"I". From the Dark energy Brahman descends to earth and acquires the " ashuddha Manasu" when one tends to get attached to material enjoyments leading to sufferings.
After attaining the form of "Manushya" that is, one with the mind, one realises that the mind has to be destroyed to ward off sufferings due to attachments and become free.
Masterji says, one can get the mind destroyed with the power of Master's energy. He says, everyone of us are Chivam and one has to realise the Chivam in him by warding off negativity, detaching himself from this materialistic world, destroying the mind and attain purity in toto. This is possible by practicing Chivality, attending Chivsanghs promptly and continuous remembrance of the Master.
