Notes 10 Aug

The Sunday Satsang began with Guruvandane, Nirvana Shatkam, Panchakshari, and silent meditation. Abhyasi Supriya Mam spoke on “Masterfullness,” emphasizing the continuous inner presence of the Master.

Masterji’s arrival in the Mouna Mantappa elevated the spiritual atmosphere. After a salutation and birthday honors by two Abhyasis, Masterji delivered a thought-provoking discourse on the nature of God and spirituality (Adhyatmikathe).

He challenged traditional belief systems, questioning whether not embracing spirituality results in loss and whether belief in God is necessary in a materialistic world. He stated that belief in God has been instilled through generations and equated it to blind faith: “Devaru Idhare Ennuvadhe Moodanambike.”

According to Masterji, *spirituality is not centered on God, but rather on **Space (Akasha)—the omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient energy. God, he said, is “that which is not” (*Illadhe Iruvudhe). True spirituality involves merging with this space and realizing that *the self is space*—limitless and formless.

He emphasized that nothing belongs to us, and like space, we must remain undisturbed and non-possessive. By seeing oneself in everyone and embracing the space within, fear dissolves and peace arises. Masterji likened his own role to a vessel of space energy, able to energize others.

He introduced the ideal of the *Sadhu—a detached being unaffected by loss, criticism, or materialism. Through **Mano Nasha* (destruction of the ego), one sheds humanly traits and unites with space, achieving inner stillness and universal connection.

Masterji concluded by saying our purpose is to *discard human qualities and become one with space*, thereby attaining peace, fearlessness, and spiritual fulfillment.
