Notes 28 Sep

Namachivayam September 28, 2025 The Sunday Satsang at Mouna Mantappa took place in a serene natural setting, beginning with devotional chants and silentation, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. With the arrival of Masterji, the environment became even more elevated. Masterji initiated the discourse by questioning why people gather at Mouna Mantappa. Unlike worldly gatherings—social, economic, or religious—which are driven by expectations and experiences, the satsang here aims for **liberation (Mukthi)** through **non-experience**. He emphasized that true spiritual progress begins when one becomes **non-reactive**, unaffected by joy or sorrow, thus transcending the cycle of expectations and disappointments. Masterji explained that the **mind** is the root of suffering, as it is entangled in attachments, desires, and emotions. **Mano Nasha**, or the complete dissolution of the mind, is essential for **Self-Realization**. This is achieved by surrendering to the Master with th...

Namachivayam September 14, 2025 The Sunday Satsang commenced in a serene and spiritual atmosphere with devotional singing and silentation, setting the tone for a deeply introspective session. The arrival of the Enlightened Master elevated the ambiance further. He began by expressing concern over the Abhyasis’ lack of involvement in the Foundation’s welfare initiatives and emphasized the importance of functioning collectively as a **Sangha**, promoting **positivity through Chivality**. He reminded that a Master's displeasure, like a mother's anger, stems from love, not malice. The central theme of the discourse was the **mind as the root of suffering**. According to Masterji, most suffering is due to **over-attachment to the mind**, not the soul. The mind intensifies pain through resistance and preferences. When one detaches from the mind and accepts life as it comes, suffering diminishes. He compared the mind to sea water – full of impurities – which, when evaporated through *...

**Namachivayam – September 05, 2025** The MMP satsang at Sri Anil Kumar’s residence began in a serene and devotional atmosphere with Guruvandane, Nirvana Shatkam, Panchakshari, and silent meditation. With the arrival of the Enlightened Master, the gathering became more divine. Masterji shared profound insights on the three gunas—Rajas, Satva, and Tamas—and their role in human life and spiritual advancement. He explained that **Rajo guna** makes a person active, energetic, and at times hyperactive, often resulting in workaholism. **Satva guna** drives one towards knowledge, learning, clarity, and focus. However, an excess of Satva can lead to pride and ego (“Aham”), where one flaunts acquired knowledge, obstructing spiritual growth. On the other hand, **Thamo guna**, generally seen as inactivity, has deep spiritual significance. It is the state of calmness, rest, and silence (“Summane Iruvudhu”), where body and mind are rejuvenated, much like deep sleep. Masterji emphasized that re...

Namachivayam Aug.17, 2025 The Sunday Satsang began with spiritual chants and silence. Upon arrival, Masterji was welcomed by the Abhyasis and honoured by two devotees on their birthdays. He then began his discourse by questioning the real purpose of **Adhyatmikathe** (spirituality), stating that it is to **discard accumulated negativity** within. This process, he said, is possible only through the **energy and guidance of a Guru**. Masterji emphasized the need to identify and willingly discard one’s negative traits. The goal is to experience **“Nothingness” within**, which signifies spiritual progress. This state of inner emptiness, free from ego and qualities (**guṇagaLu**), leads one towards **liberation (Mukthi)**. To reach this state, one must practice **Silentation** and stay connected to the Master’s divine energy, which can destroy humanly-acquired qualities. He explained that **God is Zero (Sonne)** and all existence originates and dissolves into it. The soul too is zero, ...

The Sunday Satsang began with Guruvandane, Nirvana Shatkam, Panchakshari, and silent meditation. Abhyasi Supriya Mam spoke on “Masterfullness,” emphasizing the continuous inner presence of the Master. Masterji’s arrival in the Mouna Mantappa elevated the spiritual atmosphere. After a salutation and birthday honors by two Abhyasis, Masterji delivered a thought-provoking discourse on the nature of God and spirituality (Adhyatmikathe). He challenged traditional belief systems, questioning whether not embracing spirituality results in loss and whether belief in God is necessary in a materialistic world. He stated that belief in God has been instilled through generations and equated it to blind faith: “Devaru Idhare Ennuvadhe Moodanambike.” According to Masterji, *spirituality is not centered on God, but rather on **Space (Akasha)—the omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient energy. God, he said, is “that which is not” (*Illadhe Iruvudhe). True spirituality involves merging with this sp...

Sunday Chivasangh - 03rd Aug, 2025  Gurubhyo Namaha  The Satsang began in a serene, nature-filled setting with rituals such as Guruvandane, Nirvana Shatkam, Panchakshari chanting, and silentation. Masterji addressed Abhyasis with insights on mind (Manasu), karma (Karmapala), expectations, and discipline.  He emphasized that the root of happiness or suffering lies in the mind and our expectations. We often want others to behave as we wish, which leads to stress, conflict, and disappointment when minds don’t align. True peace arises when we accept others as they are without trying to change them.  Masterji discussed Karmapala, the result of actions that, when internalized, create impressions and suffering in the mind. If one learns not to allow karma to settle as mental impressions, one can avoid sorrow. Both good and bad life experiences are natural, and only when one remains unaffected by them, can Mukthi (liberation) be attained. Enlightened beings, like Lord Rama, ...

Notes 27 July

Sunday Chivasangh - 27th Jul, 2025  Gurubhyo Namaha  On July 27, 2025, the Sunday Satsang at Mouna Mantappa marked the successful completion of 20 years of the SSB Foundation, under the guidance of Sat Shri Subramanya Shiva Balan Guruji. The event began with Guruvandane, Nirvana Shatkam, Panchakshari chanting, and silentation. The presence of Masterji elevated the spiritual atmosphere.  Masterji emphasized that struggles in life are unavoidable, but facing them with a calm and non-reactive mind is the key to inner peace. Such non-reactivity is true positivity, which leads to enlightenment. He cited Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi’s equanimity during surgery as a trait of an enlightened soul.  He explained the distinction between Enlightenment and Mukthi (liberation). While enlightenment can be attained through the Master’s energy alone, Mukthi requires both the Master’s divine energy and his Gnyana (wisdom). Energy strengthens but does not transform. Transformation ha...
